Creating sacred space where people of all races, cultures, and religious beliefs can come together and begin healing from the impact of homicide in our lives.
If you are the mother of someone who has been murdered, we welcome and encourage you to join us at St. Jane House from 10am to noon on the first, third and fifth Saturdays of the month.
We also reach out to mothers on the other side of the tragedy...those who have lost children to prison because of homicide. We welcome you to participate in a second healing group that meets the first Saturday of the month from 1pm to 3pm. At various time throughout the year, these two groups come together to heal together. Please e-mail Mary Johnson-Roy or call St. Jane House at 612-521-9282 before you come the first time.
Inspired by the poem “Two Mothers” we would ultimately like to bring both of our groups together for the purpose of leading our community in healing and reconciliation.
